I am most honored to be listed amongst The Nigeria 100 Leading Women. A special biographical compendium that profiles outstanding women in Nigeria who have overcome limitations to reach extraordinary heights”. This compendium jointly put together by Gender Perspective in Development, a gender-based NGO and Profiles & Biographies, a publishing firm, is a gender-specific biographical work that responds to existing gender gaps in Nigeria’s biographical documentation and leadership.
This compendium, whose debut was in collaboration with the Guardian newspaper in 2018, explores the intersection of accomplishment and impact.

The women listed in the compendium are leaders with transformational and innovative ideas that help shape society. The WTO DG, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; the UN Deputy Secretary General, Amina Mohammed; Chimamanda Adichie, Her Lordship, Justice Mary Odili, Oby Ezekwesili, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, Pastor Mrs. Esther Odeyemi are some of the phenomenal leaders that have made this prestigious list in the previous editions. The compendium was officially released on March 8, 2024 as part of the events marking the 2024 International Women’s Day.
